Adolfo Harrison
Adolfo Harrison leads on all aspects of garden design at Templeman Harrison. Formerly an artist and curator of two East End art galleries, Adolfo sees his garden design work as a continuation of his artistic practice.
As well as his MA in Fine Art at Central St Martins, Adolfo has completed postgraduate studies in Garden Design at the internationally renowned English Gardening School and the National Horticulture Certificate at Capel Manor College. He subsequently spent one year further cultivating his horticultural knowledge at London's oldest botanical garden, The Chelsea Physic Garden, and has been a Creative Partner to 6 schools in South East England.
Adolfo believes that the designed landscape presents itself as an ideal forum to discuss the concerns of contemporary art and culture. He writes about this on his blogs for the industry magazine Horticulture Week and artthiefgarden. He has also contributed articles on sustainable garden design for the media, including BBC Green, Start UK, and the Garden Design Journal.
